Overview
A coalition of non-profit organizations partnered with the Missouri Department of Corrections was looking for a way to project their brand an build awareness around the cause of criminal justice reform and community reentry after incarceration.
A simple WordPress site was employed to convey the organizations messages along with striking imagery to convey the gravity of their work.
Challenges
Balancing the desires of such a broad coalition of stakeholders with the capabilities of the platform and the limited budget was solved by conducting several meetings to discuss each part of the project separately.
A framework with three distinct components was used to distill all conversation into a meaningful plan for the execution of the site.
- Data - what information needs to be included
- Branding - language and imagery around that data
- Structure - how would the data and brand be laid out
